Candidates are often taken by surprise when they enter the interview stage of a pilot selection process. Showing leadership skills during a 8-people group exercise, dealing with role-play scenario’s, answering technical questions correctly and the ‘Why do we need to hire you and not your classmate with the same scores’ type of questions can lead to unnecessary failure when unprepared. By completing the Pilot Interview selection preparation course, you’ll have one thing less to worry about. We will guide and train you to become the best version of yourself, making sure they will actually see that version of you as well, all while being authentically you!
Last minute invitations for interviews are increasingly common. That is why it's important to be ready for it! We aim high as we want our candidates to be more than ready, being able to pass literally any interview assessment, regardless of the company they are applying for. The entire course is divided into a set of clear and comprehensible modules like HR Interview preparation, HR interview, Technical Interview, Psychological Interview, Personality Questionnaire and Group exercises, thus enabling you to quickly identify and improve your weak spots.
In module 1 we start by providing detailed information about our platform, how it works and how to communicate with other students applying for the same airline or flight school. We also explain what you can expect, what you need to do and how you can achieve the best possible results during an interview.Â
Dress code, paperwork, your personal pitch, SWOT analysis, and other essential interview preparation topics are covered in Module 2.
This module provides clear explanations, practical tips and real examples of everything you can prepare in advance for your HR interview. By covering the essentials beforehand, you eliminate unnecessary stress and ensure you’re fully prepared, even if you receive a last-minute interview invitation.
The HR Interview is Module 3 and has been designed to help you learn, assess yourself and improve your weak spots. In this module, you will learn how to answer a variety of interview questions. Understanding why certain questions are asked and what recruiters are looking for gives you a major head start. By practising HR questions with the knowledge provided and worksheets, you will steadily improve both your performance and your confidence.
Module 4 covers the technical interview. Aircraft systems, procedures, previous flown airplanes, ATPL theory and dedicated technical questionnaires for the A320, A330, A350, B737 and B777 are covered in this module. This module enables you to identify weak spots and maintain/improve the technical knowledge airlines expect you to have, even years after graduating.
No one’s favorite, but we have to cover it! The Psychological interview will be covered in module 5. This module thoroughly explains preparation strategies, key qualities recruiters assess, psychological interview questions and role-play exercises + scenarios. The goal is to give you a clear understanding of what is expected and how to approach the assessment with confidence.
In Module 6 we will be covering the Personality Questionnaire. Preparation strategies and key traits will be discussed here. This module also includes an actual Personality questionnaire and Situational Judgement questionnaire.
Group Exercises will be covered in module 7. We’ll discuss the do’s and don’ts, pitfalls, assessment criteria, strategies, working methods and type of different group exercises (we’ve personally experienced!). We’ll also provide a couple of examples of actual group exercises which are currently being used in some airline selection processes, as we speak.
By the end of this Pilot Interview assessment preparation course you should be able to showcase the best version of yourself and easily answer HR- Interview related questions in a flight school or airline selection process. Yes, and this is where we separate ourselves from the rest. We know exactly what, why and how those airlines are hiring. This course doesn’t just prepare you for common interview questions. It teaches you the psychology behind them, what assessors are really listening for, how to structure your personal answers at airline standard and everything else that comes with this part of the selection process.
We cover the actual airline and flight school selection processes being used right now. But that’s not our goal. Our goal is to get you into the cockpit, flying for one of the best airlines in the world, while being the best version of yourself. How much is that worth to you?
