Services provided by Your Pilot Academy are computer, tablet and phone based courses, digital products and information (the ‘Services’). The information provided by Your Pilot Academy (‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’) on https://www.yourpilotacademy.com (the ‘Site’) is for general informational purposes only.

We are an independent company that has no commercial connection with any flight school or airline. The information and the content on the Site has been submitted to us by customers and selection/assessment candidates, sharing their experience with us after attending flight school and airline assessments. The content on the Site should be used for general informational purposes only.
You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content. You must not defame, stalk, bully, abuse, harass, threaten, or intimidate people or entities and you must not post private or confidential information. You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. Your privacy is very important to us. At Your Pilot Academy we follow a few principles:

Your Pilot Academy also collects information about you during the course purchase process (PayPal and/or Stripe). The dates you make purchases, login to the site, or cancel/pause/resume your subscriptions with us as well as information relating to your course progression and test performance. When you subscribe with us, we’ll ask you to provide an email address. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
– send you information about your account and subscriptions. This may include payment receipts, password reset emails, and payment reminders.
– create your membership account
We store course progress, including completion status, test scores, assignments and/or essay submissions (if applicable). We will also store comments and feedback on courses, lessons, topics, assignments, and essays if you choose to leave them.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

– our email service provider SendInBlue through Fluent SMTP, SendInBlue handles all of our emails.

Payments
We provide paid products and services. We use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).
We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Who on our team has access
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, site Owner/Administrators can access:
Order information such as your membership subscriptions, enrolled courses, course progress, payment dates and amounts, and username / email address.
Any additional information added in your Member Profile can also be visible to the Administrator(s).
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Deleting your user account is only possible by contacting us directly. You can do so by sending us a message. We store information about you for as long as your account exists.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
