Georgian Aviation University
In 1992, within the structure of the Georgian Technical University, an aviation educational-scientific institute was developed. In 2005, the aviation educational-scientific institute separated from the Technical University and became an independent Georgian Aviation University. The University has got an accreditation from the ministry of education and science of Georgia. GAU (Georgian Aviation University) is situated in Tbilisi, the capital city of the Republic of Georgia. Several Pilot Instructors with more than 10,000 hours of piloting experience are working at the school to train the future pilots. Georgian Aviation University has 4 different faculties and its own professional training centre as well. The faculties are Air transport flight exploitation, Air transport business administration, Engineering and Air law. The professional training centre has the following specialties: Pilot, Aircrafts and aviation engine maintenance technician, Aircraft avionics and el. system maintenance technician, Air carrier, Construction-technician of aerodromes and automobile roads, and Accountant.
